The Bathroom Gem Spring Leg Bag Release System assists in emptying a urine collection leg bag.  The emptier is extremely durable, reliable, maintenance free and does not require daily cleaning.

The urine does not touch the release system, instead, the device is completely mechanical and does not require any type of power supply and will work with any type of wheelchair.

The leg bag's tubing is crimped by a spring-driven cylinder to stop the flow of the liquid from leaving the bag.  An easy to use lever draws a cable to pull the cylinder away from the tubing allowing liquid to flow from the bag.  While the lever is held down (usually with the weight of a forearm or 3” to 4” pounds of pressure) the unit is open allowing the bag to drain. When the weight is taken off the lever the spring-driven cylinder again crimps the tubing stopping any flow from the bag.

The lever can be mounted anywhere conveniently for the user.

The unit is constructed using stainless steel coverings which houses a high-density plastic assembly which contains a high tensile piano spring to crimp the catheter's tubing.

Installation is simple, the device is mounted under the foot plate for use with a floor toilet or other drain.  Our leg bag release system is now VA approved.

Cables may be ordered in either 32" or 48" lengths.
