Installing the bag release on any wheelchair is simple.

1. Decide which side of the chair (left or right) to install the release unit.
2. Drill a 5/8” hole in the footplate (left or right) for the tubing to pass through.
3. Attach the release unit to the bottom of the footplate using the two 3/16” screws.
4. Thread the cable and handle underneath the chair to position the handle (either left or right) where desired on either the side of the chair or on the arm rail.
5. If the handle is to be attached to the arm rail, use the u-clamp.
6. If the handle is to be attached to the side of the chair, use the flush-fit bracket and attach with the two 3/16” screws.
